Trauma

Post Traumatic Stress? Toxic Grief?

EFT May be for You

Post Traumatic Stress is common among people who have experienced severe trauma from many types of events such as rape, war events, car accidents, violent crime and any other shocking event. Common symptoms are intrusive memories, depression, anxiety, hostility, suicidal thoughts or actions and other seriously disruptive behaviors and feelings.

Emotional Freedom Techniques® (EFT) is a revolutionary technique for eliminating the devastating effects of Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD) whatever the cause. This simple tapping procedure is far superior to any other form of therapy that I have found, including EMDR. I was a Level II EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) practitioner, but gave it up to pursue training in EFT because EFT is far safer to use, and more consistently effective.

To begin to understand the power of EFT for the treatment of trauma, please watch this video. Remember, although the video addresses war-related trauma, the same results can be achieved for someone experiencing PTSD for any reason.

I understand that you might be skeptical, but as you have seen in this video, EFT is highly effective for PTSD when administered by a skilled professional.  Although this process is very user friendly to use for self help, it is not advised to apply it to yourself for this issue without training and assistance from a trained professional. To date, EFT has yielded remarkable results for relieving emotional and physical distress. EFT appears to have promising mental, spiritual, and physical health benefits but has yet to be fully researched by the Western academic, medical, and psychological communities.
